quality shopping to our community, and to be a resource for information. If you represent a
not-for-profit organization that has worthwhile information or services to provide or you are
in need of space for fundraising opportunities for your local charity don’t hesitate to contact
us. To apply for use of the BPM Community Booth, please click here and fill-in the form or you may print the

The SPACE which stands for “Sharing Positive Artistic and Creative Energies” is a FREE art and tech maker space with a focus on providing an open therapeutic working environment. From sewing to jewelry-making and DIY crafts, The Space offers open studio and structured workshops for all ages as our way of providing the community with high-quality art supplies, computer technology and professional art instruction.

GATe – Greenbelt Access Television, Inc.

Greenbelt Access Television, Inc. (GATe) is the public cable access studio for the
Greenbelt Community. Their mission is to provide the public with an opportunity to produce
and cablecast their production on Comcast 77 & Verizon FIOS 19. Members are trained in
pre-production, camera operation, and digital editing. Members assist each other in making
their visions and messages into viewable video productions. [email protected]

Gava – Greenbelt Association for the Visual Arts

The Greenbelt Association for the Visual Arts (GAVA) is organized to provide
comprehensive programming in the visual arts, and in interdisciplinary projects, based at
the Greenbelt Community Center, for the population of Greenbelt and the surrounding
communities. Our goal is to offer quality programs that are accessible to a diverse
population, and to serve as advocates for the Greenbelt arts community. Our Vision is to
create a vibrant center for the visual arts which will actively cooperate with other arts and
community organizations in Greenbelt, Prince George’s County, and Maryland, and with the
City of Greenbelt, to foster creativity and community involvement in the arts.
